Nutrition in vegetables is very good for the health of the body. Although healthy there are several types of vegetables that are not recommended for excessive consumption. What are the vegetables?

Tomatoes include one type of vegetable that should not be consumed excessively. According to Dr. Karin Wiradarma from, the acidic nature of tomatoes if consumed too much or consumed along with other foods that are acidic, such as oranges, lemons, and others can cause heartburn.

Not only that, excessive tomato consumption can increase the risk of gastric acid returning to the esophagus, also called reflux or GERD. This condition can give symptoms such as pain or heat in the chest as well as shortness of breath.

1. Spinach

Spinach does offer iron, lutein and carotenoids are beneficial to prevent anemia and help maintain eye health. However, over consumption of spinach is not good because it contains high oxalate, a substance that can crystallize into kidney stones when consumed in over.

2. Broccoli

Eating too much broccoli along with other vegetables such as cabbage can make your stomach bloated and uncomfort to do anything.

3. Carrots

This type of vegetables rich in vitamin A is good for the eyes and skin. Unfortunately, if consumed daily excessively may change your skin color in to orange.
